The New Orleans Saints season is over and all eyes should be shifting towards the NFL Draft. Fans can begin looking at prospects as the College Football Playoffs roll on this week. The first semifinal matchup is the Miami Hurricanes against the Ole Miss Rebels.

Miami has pulled off back-to-back upsets over Texas A&M and Ohio State to reach this point. Edge rushers Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor have previously been identified as intriguing prospects to keep an eye on and won’t be covered again.

Ole Miss has battled Tulane and Georgia to get here. I’ve already covered defensive tackle Zxavian Harris as a prospect to watch, so he won’t be included here.

Once again, keep an eye on a Miami defender

Miami: Keionte Scott

Defensive back Keionte Scott is one of the most versatile players in college football. He primarily lines up in the slot, but he’s played snaps in the box, on the defensive line, as a cornerback, and as a free safety. He’s got great athleticism and the size to match it at 6’0”, 190 LBs.

Scott is a triple threat; he impacts the game in coverage, against the run, and as a pass rusher. He has two interceptions (each being returned for a touchdown), four pass breakups, five sacks, 13 tackles for loss, and 58 total tackles in 2025. His impact on the game is undeniable. Keep an eye out for number 0 on Miami’s defense.

Ole Miss: Harrison Wallace III

Harrison Wallace III is the primary receiver for Ole Miss. He’s coming off an impressive showing against Georgia with nine receptions for 156 yards and one touchdown. He’s the leading receiver for the Rebels with 894 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

Wallace has elite speed with great size (6’1”, 200 LBs), which makes him a constant big-play threat. He was given an invite to the Senior Bowl this week and will get the opportunity to showcase his talent in Mobile, AL. He’s a potential riser this offseason and has the chance to show it this week.
