If you ask who is the New Orleans Saints Most Valuable Player in 2025, you're bound to get a variety of answers. You may hear Chase Young, Chris Olave, or Tyler Shough. You can make a strong argument for any of those players. The Who Dat Dish team certainly did.

Forget saving the best for last. We're opening up with the main attraction. With the NFL Honors rolling around this week, we're taking a look at all of the Saints' superlatives from the season. We jump out with a bang and take a look at the team MVP.

With too many good options, we had to resort to a roundtable to break down each writer's vote. It was close and only one player got two votes, Chris Olave.

Chris Olave narrowly gets the most votes for Saints MVP

Chris Olave's All-Pro sets him apart from the pack

Chris Olave was the lone New Orleans Saints named an All Pro in 2025. He delivered an outstanding season with 100 receptions, 1,163 yards, and nine touchdowns. He consistently produced in critical moments, elevating those around him. Olave is the undeniable MVP of the Saints 2025 campaign from start to finish.- Tramell Jeffers

Tyler Shough changed the Saints' fortunes completely

Tyler Shough flat out changed the Saints from the moment he stepped into the starting lineup. The Saints had won 6 games since the start of the 2024 season. They won 5 of Shough's 9 starts. The Saints had more offensive momentum, closed games stronger and executed on 3rd and longs. This was thanks to Shough's decision making, mobility and poise. It's hard to point to a player with a greater impact on the team, which makes it possible to overlook the games played. - Darrion Gray

Chase Young emerged as a franchise cornerstone

The MVP of the Saints is Chase Young. He signed a three year extension this offseason and missed the first five weeks of the season for a calf injury, but proved his value and was stellar after. He proved he could be a franchise cornerstone and someone the Saints can build around. He isn’t the most glamorous player, but his importance can’t be understated. - Drew Collings

Chris Olave puts up a career year in the face of roster turnover

Chris Olave is my New Orleans Saints MVP of the 2025 season. He had a career year in targets (156), receptions (100), receiving yards (1,163), and receiving touchdowns (9). All that, through two quarterbacks and the loss of his best friend on the team (Rashid Shaheed) makes it even more impressive for me.- Molly Bauer
