Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport chose seven players whose fantasy stock has skyrocketed after organized team activities. Saints' wide receiver Chris Olave made the exclusive list.

Olave has been New Orleans' most valuable wide receiver ever since he was selected in the first round of the draft in 2022. So far in his career, he has 191 receptions for 2,565 yards and 10 touchdowns. However, after battling multiple concussions, he was only able to play in eight games in 2024, a career low.

Chris Olave's fantasy production limited by injuries

Olave was only able to gather 400 receiving yards on 32 receptions for one touchdown last season. Per fantasydata.com, this resulted in 76.7 fantasy points, 138.05 less than his previous two-season average of 214.75. This down year statistically and in fantasy can be attributed to his injuries.

Still, it's a what have you done for me lately league. Fantasy football is no different. Due to the concussions, Davenport anticipates that Olave will be drafted at the back end of the WR3 territory on average. He does, however, expect him to substantially outperform the asking price if healthy.

Olave says the concussions were tough, but he’s ready and healthy for next season. “I feel like I’m ready. I was training and lifting everything in December. So I feel like I’m good. They said I was OK back in December when they cleared me. It was just unlucky situations I was being put in. God's got me at the end of the day. I'm not worried about nothing. So, just got to go out there 100% and be ready," Olave said after the second day of minicamp.

Olave reflected on the hardships of the injury. “I ain't never really sat out that long. That was really my first major injury.” It doesn't seem like the wide receiver has missed a beat Through mini camp, the former Ohio State Buckeye has 8/11 of his targets, according to NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill.
