Cam Jordan finished the New Orleans Saints' win over the Carolina Panthers with three tackles, and one of those tackles was Jordan pushing Panthers quarterback, Bryce Young, near the sideline to the ire of offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu.

What ensued was a push from Ekwonu and some talking back and forth. Jordan clearly didn't like the offensive tackle's reaction and wanted to have a conversation immediately. He fought past a teammate and an official to get to Ekwonu. Jordan talked to him for a while as each player walked back to the huddle. The next play saw Jordan have one of his fastest get-offs upon the snap we've seen in years.

It wasn't against Ekwonu though. Jordan plays nearly exclusively across from the right tackle, so these two players barely saw each other. The truth is it was a bang bang play, and Ekwonu did what he was supposed to do to protect his quarterback. Jordan did what he was supposed to do by completing the play then taunting Ekwonu after the game.

Jordan isn't leaving this on the field. He's clearly bothered by the shove even the day after the game. One thing the Saints legend always says is believing in the 24 hour rule. That didn't stop him from looking at the film and letting everyone know he didn't hit Young late. Honestly, that might have been part of basking in the victory.

The social media post felt more like a shot at Ekwonu than Jordan pleading his own innocence. Look no further than Jordan referring to the moment as "the play the slovenly feller took a cheap Shot at me like a confused rhino in heat." He had some fun calling Ekwonu a slovenly feller and a confused rhino, but Jordan made sure to call the play a cheap shot as well. He did all of this before he had to talk to a middle school that morning.

Jordan also mocked the offensive tackle immediately after the game as well. Once again without saying his name, Jordan called "the one that tried to charge people up after plays." Then he wrapped it up with a "good job buddy. I'll send him a broom later." This was clearly something that weighed on Jordan for at least a day after the game.
