Cam Jordan has set his sights on two prospects for the New Orleans Saints in the first round. He laid out Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson as a dream for Tyler Shough and the Saints. With the addition of a top receiver, Jordan sees an exciting offense in the making, and it's hard to argue with him.

Jordan said Shough would have "all the weapons" then proceeded to run them down. When you hear them all at once, it's scary hours for defense. Jordan pointed to Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson, Devaughn Vele, a "newly named a-chan" and capped off his list with a healthy offensive line. The energy through the tweet was infectious

Could Cam Jordan's tweet hint towards him and the Saints getting closer

This was a refreshing but surprising tweet to see from Jordan. Commenting on the Saints draft strategy is normal under most circumstances. We aren’t in the midst of most circumstances, however. For the first time in a decade and a half, Jordan isn’t currently a Saint. On top of that, negotiations don’t seem to be progressing at all.

The last social media post that garnered some attention appeared to be Jordan expressing his displeasure. This post would make you think Jordan had three years left on his deal. He sounds fully immersed in the team and what their next step will be. This is regular activity from a player who has spent the offseason expressing the uncertainty of his future with the Saints.

It in no way solidifies a return to New Orleans. The two sides still have to come to an agreement, and it takes two to tango. At least, we now know he is still excited about who the Saints can be, assumedly with him on the roster.

One thing that was different about this call to action than usual is the position Jordan chose. Most times, Jordan is asking for reinforcements on the defensive line. He doesn't need a partner in crime. Chase Young already fills that role.

In brutal honesty, another pass rusher may push Jordan out of the premium position in the rotation he could be looking for. Could be why he later mentioned the Saints being due for a defensive end, but wanting them to grab an interior player to go with Bresee.

When it was all said and done, Jordan had given multiple options for the Saints to pick. Wide receiver was the first one, and he doubled down on it as well. It's obviously the one on the front of his mind and possibly the Saints' mind too.
