The third and final Senior Bowl practice wrapped up on Thursday afternoon. This closing period was crucial for prospects, as it was their last chance to impress scouts before the game. Some players took that to heart and had their best day when it mattered.
This list is exclusively about players' performance on day three. Other prospects shined earlier, but didn’t stand out on day three so they won’t be included here. Articles covering the other practices are already up.
With that said, it’s time to get into five prospects who impressed during day three of the Senior Bowl and should be on the New Orleans Saints watch list.
Cincinnati wide receiver Cyrus Allen added his name to an already impressive wide receiver group
Cyrus Allen- Wide Receiver, Cincinnati
The wide receiver class was lauded for its depth, yet the Senior Bowl has still uncovered some gems. One of them is Cincinnati receiver Cyrus Allen. He was solid in the first two days, but stood out on day three with his elite route running. It doesn’t matter the defender, no one was able to keep up with the former Bearcat. Allen still isn’t a big name, but undoubtedly made scouts go back and watch his film.
Thaddeus Dixon- Cornerback, North Carolina
North Carolina had a disastrous 2025 campaign, but one of the bright spots was cornerback Thaddeus Dixon. Similarly to Cyrus Allen, Dixon didn’t have a bad first two days, but struggled to stand out among elite competition. However, that all changed on Thursday. Dixon was locked down in coverage, grabbing an interception as well. He’s an underrated player who is likely to rise up draft boards throughout the pre-draft process.
Kyle Louis- Linebacker, Pitt
Kyle Louis is listed as a linebacker, but showed off his versatility at the Senior Bowl. He’s undersized at 5’11”, 224 pounds, but it allows him to play more as a box safety role, which fits him perfectly. Louis showed off his excellent athleticism and instincts in coverage, constantly making plays on the ball. He has a knack for being in the right place. He may be scheme specific, but a team will fall in love with Louis because of his performance in Mobile.
Caleb Banks- Defensive Tackle, Florida
Caleb Banks was the most athletic player at the Senior Bowl, and showed it on day three. The 6’6”, 330 pound prospect was fairly underwhelming at the first two practices, but showed his ability on Thursday. He was dominant, mixing his power with surprisingly quickness to bully opposing lineman. His hand usage and pass rush plan was impressive as well. Banks was already likely a first round pick, but is now competing for the top overall defensive tackle.
Bud Clark- Safety, TCU
Bud Clark was one of the most impressive players throughout the Senior Bowl, and could’ve been included on this list each day, but had his best day on Thursday. Everyone knew he was a ball hawk, snagging 15 interceptions in his career but not to this extent. Quarterbacks couldn’t go near Clark, as he would disrupt every pass. Very little players made more money that he did during the practices.
