The New Orleans Saints have a tall task ahead of them to beat the Baltimore Ravens. Styles make fights, and the duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry make it a difficult fight for New Orleans. The Saints' best punch is the Tyler Shough to Chris Olave connection, but it's the supporting cast that will make the splash this week.
Olave dropped a career high 182 yards last week, but if you ask our analysts, this week won't be the Olave show. All of our bold predictions revolve around receiving threats not named Olave. He'll get his, but Week 2 will show the depth of options at Shough's disposal.
We've already identified these first two games as arguably the toughest games of the year. In some ways, predicting a victory would be a bold prediction. We won't go that route, instead focusing on individual performances.

Devaughn Vele has more than 80 yards receiving yards for just the second time
Devaughn Vele has only surpassed 80 yards once in his career, and Sunday’s game will be the second time he hits that benchmark. The first time he did it was against the Miami Dolphins last year. The Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is now with the Baltimore Ravens in the same position.
History will repeat itself for Vele, who is coming off a big game last week. His total was 69 yards, but the receiver continues to be a reliable target for Shough in pivotal moments. Vele will be rewarded for that with one of his best games in a Saints uniform.~ Darrion Gray
Alvin Kamara has 50 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown
I think that Alvin Kamara will light it up in his return, but not in the way some may think. This afternoon in Baltimore, I think that AK will show off his receiving skills in vintage
Travis Etienne is expected to be the primary ball carrier. However, with Kellen Moore indicating that Alvin Kamara will have a significant role in the offense, it appears Kamara may return to his roots in a sense. So, if he has over 50 receiving yards along with his first receiving touchdown since 2024, don’t be too surprised. It could just be the start of a new one-two punch for the offense.~ Molly Bauer

All eyes will be on Chris Olave in the passing game, As cornerback Marlon Humphrey confirmed earlier this week, which will create one-on-one opportunities for the rookie. In these situations, he can use his combination of blazing speed and physicality to dominate these matchups.
Lance had a larger than anticipated role in week one. He’s filling in for Jordyn Tyson and will once again be heavily utilized in this offense. Don’t be surprised to see Tyler Shough frequently target Lance and capitalize on an advantageous situation.~ Drew Collings
