Per Fantasy Pros, Saints RB Alvin Kamara is currently being ranked as RB12 behind players like D’Andre Swift, Aaron Jones, and Nick Chubb. Now, this is no knock on them as they are all vastly talented players but Kamara is as elite as it comes when talking about the RB position.

Kamara’s receiving upside is second to none as he has eclipsed 80+ catches in all but one of his seasons in the NFL while averaging 650+ receiving yards per season. Last season, Kamara rushed for 898 yards and racked up 439 yards in the receiving game all while being the sole weapon of the Saints offense.

Kamara is truly elite and there should not be any question about his talent. The only thing that could deter Kamara from producing another monster fantasy season this year is his potential suspension resulting from an off-the-field incident earlier this year.

Now there have been reports that Kamara will not face any consequences from the NFL this season. If that is indeed true and the Saints offense returns to its dominant state, look for Kamara to not only outperform his current ranking but also contend for the crown of fantasy’s top performer yet again.
