New Orleans Saints should place these 4 players on the trade block
Trades happen as the start of the NFL regular season gets closer. Will the New Orleans Saints pull the trigger on trading any of their players?
As the New Orleans Saints continue their training camp and inch closer to the start of preseason, players are starting to carve out roles for themselves. Other players might find themselves in the unfortunate position where a position they once held onto isn’t theirs anymore.
The Saints, like the other 31 NFL teams, will have players they decide it’d be better to try and trade rather than to hold onto for the 2022 season.
Let’s take a look at four players the black and gold should place on the trade block ahead of the 2022 regular season.

4. Tanoh Kpassagnon
The Saints signed Tanoh Kpassagnon last year in free agency and it looked to be a good signing at first. Kpassagnon had four sacks and eight QB hits for the defense and looked like a steal in free agency.
Unfortunately, the former second-round pick wasn’t able to stay healthy. He missed nine games and it was a big disappointment after his hot start to the season.
While it’d be great to have Kpassagnon back in 2022, he could make sense as a trade candidate simply because of the depth the Saints have along the defensive line. Taco Charlton is vying for a roster spot and if Kpassagnon was traded, his chances of making the team would greatly improve. Recently-added T.J. Carter might have a fighting chance as well.
Teams might be interested in Kpassagnon because of his experience with both the Chiefs and the Saints and if NOLA could get a draft pick in exchange for him, they should go for it.
