1. John Jenkins

With their third-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Saints selected John Jenkins out of Georgia. Jenkins went on to play in New Orleans for four seasons before the team cut him during that fourth year. Seattle scooped him up not long after and he’s hopped around since getting let go by NOLA.

During his time in New Orleans, Jenkins never looked the part of a third-round pick. He had just 1.5 sack and didn’t make the impact on defense that the team had hoped for. It wasn’t shocking when they cut him during the 2018 season but it is a little surprising that he’s still in the league.

Not only is Jenkins still in the league but he’s become a decent player. This past year with the Dolphins, Jenkins had a PFF grade of 71.0 and has shown that he can be a good player and it’ll be interesting to see if he can perform well again in Miami during the 2022 season.

Fans probably remember Jenkins a little bit but likely only because he was a third-round pick who just never became the kind of player they were hoping for. He’s still making a career in the National Football League though.
