2. Boston Scott

Boston Scott is different from the other names on this list because he never actually appeared in a regular-season game for the Saints. New Orleans spent a sixth-round pick on the Louisiana Tech product and placed him on the practice squad ahead of the 2018 season.

Unfortunately for them, the Eagles plucked Scott off the Saints’ practice squad, and during his rookie year, he only saw action on special teams, returning four kickoffs.

In 2019, Scott appeared in 11 games and started two games, rushing for 245 yards and five touchdowns. He also was a playmaker in the receiving game, tallying 204 yards through the air.

The Louisiana Tech product appeared in all 16 games during the 2020 season and rushed for a career-high 374 yards. The next year he had a career-high seven touchdowns through 16 games.

The Saints haven’t exactly been hurting at the running back position since Scott was scooped up by the Eagles but fans probably don’t remember that at one time, he was in the black and gold, even if it wasn’t during the regular season.
