The New Orleans Saints might not be keeping these players past the 2022 season. Here are three players who are entering their final year in the black and gold.

For the most part, the New Orleans Saints have done a nice job keeping key players in the Big Easy. Last offseason they were able to extend both Marshon Lattimore and Ryan Ramczyk, keeping them in New Orleans for the foreseeable future.

While the organization was able to keep those two guys, Terron Armstead and Marcus Williams left in free agency for greener pastures. Armstead was injury-prone and in his 30s while Williams was simply going to be too expensive.

Who are the Saints likely not going to be able to keep past the 2022 season? Let’s take a look.

3. Bradley Roby

It seemed like an excellent move during the 2021 offseason when the Saints traded a third-round pick to the Texans in exchange for Bradley Roby. The former first-round pick spent five years with the Broncos before spending two years in Houston and eventually landing in New Orleans due to the trade.

Roby’s addition to the team gave the Saints another solid starting cornerback opposite Marshon Lattimore but that’s not what ended up happening. Rookie Paulson Adebo stepped in while Roby was serving a suspension and proved that he could be a starter in this defense.

That led to Roby appearing in just 42% of defensive snaps last year. He’s on the Saints roster this year but this could be it for him in the Big Easy.
