1. Tanoh Kpassagnon

People might forget about Tanoh Kpassagnon. After all, he missed over half of the season last year and there hasn’t been much buzz about him this offseason. Make no mistake though, Kpassagnon is someone who, when healthy, makes this defense better.

Kpassagnon, a former second-round pick by the Chiefs in 2017, spent four years in Kansas City before signing with the Saints last offseason. He matched his career-high in sacks with four, which he did through eight games and five starts. He also had 18 tackles, two defended passes, and a forced fumble during his inaugural season in the Big Easy.

Kpassagnon will sit behind Cameron Jordan on the depth chart this year but should find his way into the rotation pretty frequently. He finished the 2021 season appearing in 43% of the defensive snaps and hopefully, that number will rise this year if he can avoid the injury bug.

When it comes down to it, Tanoh Kpassagnon is the most underrated player on the Saints roster.
