3. Taysom Hill

It might seem wild to blame a tight end on the roster but Taysom Hill isn’t your typical tight end. As we all know, Hill would much rather be taking snaps as the quarterback but Dennis Allen informed everyone that Hill would be mostly spending time at tight end this year.

Sean Payton didn’t stick around past the 2021 season but he made sure to get his guy Hill paid before he left the organization. Now the team is stuck with Hill’s contract and that’s why he could get some flack from the fans if things go poorly.

While Hill’s contract is set up to pay him based on what position he ends up playing, if the team isn’t playing well, fans aren’t going to be happy that the team kept him around for the next four years for him to be a backup tight end.

As unfair as it may be considering how solid he is as an offensive weapon, if the Saints aren’t having a good year in 2022, Taysom Hill is going to be someone who gets a lot of hate thrown his way.
