10 best remaining free agents and are they a fit for NOLA Saints
1. Odell Beckham Jr., WR
The best free agent on the market is Odell Beckham Jr., who Saints fans are used to seeing linked to the team. First and foremost, Beckham played at LSU and two former LSU standouts have joined their hometown team this offseason.
Secondly, Beckham and the Saints were linked together frequently when he was let go from the Browns midway through last season. While OBJ picked the Rams (and picked right, as he won a Super Bowl with them), that doesn’t mean he’ll do so again this time around.
OBJ was injured in the Super Bowl and he might not be able to contribute until midway through the season, which is important to note. While it’d be cool to have Beckham join the Saints and team up with Landry again, it’s not a necessity. They’re no longer desperate for a starting wide receiver as they once were.
