5. Antonio Brown, WR

Out of the final five players on this list, three are wide receivers. A month ago, Saints fans probably would have jumped at any of these options but after drafting Chris Olave and signing Jarvis Landry, New Orleans is no longer in need of a wide receiver.

Antonio Brown is the first receiver to pop up on this list and the name immediately is followed in most cases by “Ooh boy”. Brown is a hot-head and this was highlighted by last season when he ripped his jersey and pads off in the middle of a game and left the game. He didn’t play again.

Brown is a talented player but he’s a drama king. No thanks to adding him to this solid locker room.

Verdict: Not a fit

4. Julio Jones, WR

Saints fans are all too familiar with Julio Jones, as they’ve faced him every year during his career, even when he left the division last year to play with Tennessee. His Titans tenure didn’t pan out well, as Jones compiled 434 yards and a touchdown in 10 starts.

Jones isn’t the same player he once was and at 33 years old, it’s tough to put a lot of stock into a declining wide receiver. I wouldn’t be opposed to New Orleans signing Jones but he wouldn’t be coming in as a starter and that might not be something he’s okay with.

Verdict: Potential fit but not as a starter
