QB3: Taysom Hill

QB1 and QB2 are easy but this is where the depth chart could be debated a bit. Taysom Hill needs no introduction to Saints fans. He’s been with the organization since 2017 and has been doing his offensive weapon role since 2018 and he’s taken the league by storm.

The past two years allowed us to see Hill in more of a starting quarterback role and while he’s a very elusive player, he’s not a starting quarterback. The guy is at his best when he can be given the ball either as a runner or as a pass-catcher, not when he’s throwing the ball.

Dennis Allen doesn’t have the same kind of crush on Hill that Sean Payton did and has already mentioned that Hill will be transitioning to more of a full-time tight end. Even with this being the case, if NOLA runs into a situation like last year where the starter and the backup quarterback get injured, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see Hill slide into the role over Ian Book.
