Week 17 @ Eagles (Jan. 1 — 12 CST)

New Orleans kicks off 2023 against the Eagles and this is a team that has been hard for the black and gold to be competitive against. Philadelphia is a brutal place to play for a few reasons (the fans being one of the main ones) and with this game taking place there in January, it’s going to be really cold.

This is another one of those games on the schedule that I simply don’t like the matchup. I see a frustrating loss for NOLA to kick off the new year.

Prediction: Saints lose 31-27 (8-8)

Week 18 vs. Panthers (Jan. 8 — 12 CST)

Entering their final game of the season with an 8-8 record, the Saints very well could still be in playoff contention with a .500 record. The NFC is weak enough that a 9-8 record or hell, even 8-9 record, could get a team into the postseason.

That being said, a win here against the Panthers would only help NOLA’s chances of getting in and  if it’s a win-and-in situation, the Saints won’t disappoint.

Prediction: Saints win 35-24 (9-8)

So there you have it. I predicted the New Orleans Saints would finish the 2022 season with a 9-8 record and that should be enough to get them into the playoffs.
