Week 15 vs. Falcons (Dec. 18 — ??)

The Saints have a really late BYE week in Week 14 but then they get to return to the friendly confines of the Caesars Superdome.

After squaring off in the season opener, New Orleans won’t see the Falcons again for three months. A lot can change between Week 1 and Week 15, as Saints fans know all too well.

Will Mariota still be the starter for the Dirty Birds? Or will rookie Desmond Ridder be taking the snaps from the center when we reach this point of the season? If Ridder’s under center, things could be trickier to predict but, let’s be optimistic and go with a season sweep of the Falcons.

Prediction: Saints win 28-17 (8-6)

Week 16 @ Browns (Dec. 24 — 12 CST) – Saturday

With Christmas Day following on a Sunday, most of the other games will be played the day before, on Christmas Eve. The Saints are no stranger to playing on holidays and the last time we saw them play on actual Christmas, Alvin Kamara scored six touchdowns.

Here’s to hoping for some of that Kamara magic again this year because the Saints are going to need it against a Browns team that now has Deshaun Watson. Maybe Watson ends up sitting out a portion of the 2022 season, but even if he gets a lengthy suspension, it feels likely that he’d be the quarterback in this one. That’ll make this game tougher.

Prediction: Saints lose 24-17 (8-7)
