Saints Schedule: Way too early game-by-game predictions for 2022
Week 10 @ Steelers (Nov. 13 — 12 CST)
Following their game against the Ravens, the Saints head to Pittsburgh to face another AFC North team. The Steelers are an incredibly well-run team and that’s why even though they’ll be without a threatening quarterback this year, they’re still a team to be feared.
By this point, Kenny Pickett could be the starting quarterback of the Steelers or it could be Mitchell Trubisky, who signed with them in free agency. Either way, the defenses will likely be the storyline in this matchup and it’ll be a lot of fun to watch. Hopefully, the good guys come out on top, as I’m predicting they will.
Prediction: Saints win 17-14 (6-4)
Week 11 vs. Rams (Nov. 20 — 12 CST)
These two hated rivals haven’t faced off since the beginning of the 2019 season when Drew Brees was injured and replaced by Teddy Bridgewater. That was the first matchup between the two since the infamous no-call in the NFC Championship Game and it didn’t go well for NOLA.
A ton has changed for both sides since then, as the Rams are the reigning Super Bowl champions (blech) and both teams have new quarterbacks. It’ll be the first time Saints fans see their team face Matthew Stafford when he’s not in a Lions jersey and he’s always been sneaky good against the Saints.
Unfortunately, the Rams probably prevail here.
Prediction: Saints lose 24-14 (6-5)
