Week 8 vs. Raiders (Oct. 30 — 12 CST)

The Raiders have been another team that has been a thorn in the side of the Saints in recent years. They’re 0-2 against them in each of their last two tries with the latest coming in 2020 to open up the season in Vegas’ new stadium.

Las Vegas wouldn’t be on the schedule this year but due to the extra game, the Saints and Raiders get to play each other since they finished second in their respective divisions. While the Raiders have been an annoying team to play, this game is at home and NOLA will be determined to break their two-game losing streak.

Prediction: Saints win 30-20 (5-3)

Week 9 vs. Ravens (Nov. 7 — 7:15 CST) – Monday Night Football

“Are ya ready for some football?!” The Saints get their first Monday night game of the year and it’ll be against the feisty Ravens. The last time these two teams squared off, Justin Tucker was human and missed a field goal that helped propel New Orleans to victory.

A lot has changed since then, however, and the defense will have their work cut out for them when it comes to trying to slow down Lamar Jackson. This should be a fun defensive battle too, and Marcus Williams will face his old team for the first time, which should be one of the big storylines for this game.

Sadly, the Ravens are a good team that plays well in primetime. They get it done here.

Prediction: Saints lose 24-14 (5-4)
