The final reason that Chris Olave is a great draft pick by the New Orleans Saints is quite simply the fact that he’s a culture fit. It’s no surprise to anyone that the Saints have landed yet another player from Ohio State, but Olave has more going for him than just that.

Olave has already worked with current Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas during offseason training programs and things of that nature, so Olave already has a working relationship with a pivotal part of the New Orleans Saints.

Olave and Michael Thomas already have a relationship as two notable wide receivers who played at the same college (at different times, of course), but now they’ll be able to take that up a notch now that they’re playing on the same squad.

Olave is quite simply a hard-working, self-driven type of player that doesn’t need to be validated to contribute. He puts in the work on a daily basis, and he reaps the rewards on game days.

Olave is the perfect match for the New Orleans Saints, and they without a shadow of a doubt viewed him as their top option in the pool of talent this year.
