There is no doubting the fact that the New Orleans Saints are entering a transitional period in their franchise history, but the question at large is who will actually be entering their final season in the black and gold?

We’ve seen many players unexpectedly depart from the Saints in recent years, and there’s no doubt that next year would consist of the same. Players like Marcus Williams, Malcolm Jenkins, and Terron Armstead all left the Saints this offseason, and all came as a bit of a surprise. Williams signed with the Ravens, Jenkins retired, and Armstead is now a Miami Dolphin.

Players could leave for different reasons; they could receive a better offer with a different team, they could be upset with the future of the Saints’ franchise, or they could decide to hang up the cleats for good. All in all, there will be some shakeups to the Saints’ roster following next season, so enjoy these players while they’re here!

Here’s a look at three players that may not be suiting up for the Saints beyond next season.
