What does the New Orleans Saints’ linebacker depth chart look like as we inch closer to the 2022 NFL Draft?

The New Orleans Saints‘ linebacker corp was strong in 2021, as Demario Davis, continued to be one of the best at his position. He was aided by rookie Pete Werner and free-agent re-signee Kwon Alexander, who once again is a free agent but has not been retained yet.

With Alexander still floating out there in free agency, the Saints could end up bringing him back or maybe they look to add help to the linebacker position in the 2022 NFL Draft. Alexander returning would be a popular decision by the organization but he might end up being able to land a bigger contract for more money elsewhere.

Davis and Werner give NOLA a solid duo at the position but they’ll want to add some help. How much will the position change between now and the end of the draft?

Before we get into that, let’s check out the current Saints linebacker depth chart utilizing the official roster to put it together. We’ll start with the starters and then work our way through the rest of the depth chart.
