The New Orleans Saints’ defensive line is in pretty good shape as the team gets closer to the 2022 NFL Draft. What does the depth chart look like ahead of the draft?

While the New Orleans Saints‘ defensive line looks pretty dang good at this point of the offseason, both Marcus Davenport and David Onyemata are nearing the end of their contracts. This means that the team will need to add depth pieces despite already having a stacked group along the d-line.

Davenport and Onyemata aren’t the only key members of the defensive line that could end up signing elsewhere a year from now, as both Tanoh Kpassagnon and Shy Tuttle are also set to hit free agency. Those guys might not seem like as big of losses as Davenport and Onyemata would be, but they’re solid players for this team.

With the NFL Draft less than two weeks away, let’s dive into the Saints’ defensive line depth chart and discuss how things could change when the draft is officially in the books. The team might not add too many players at the position due to it being pretty loaded, but they’ve really focused on putting together a solid d-line in recent years.

Let’s take a look at the defensive line depth chart, with help from the Saints’ official roster.
