The New Orleans Saints made a trade that many feel could be a move to help them land a quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft. Who is a signal-caller for them to target in each round?
Even after re-signing Jameis Winston for the 2022 season, the New Orleans Saints might decide to add a quarterback in April’s draft. Unfortunately, this isn’t a great year to need a signal-caller but if the Saints have someone in mind that they like, then hey, good for them.
To put together this list, I ran a few mock drafts on The Draft Network to see who might be available when the Saints were on the clock with their picks in each round. While NOLA doesn’t have a seventh-round pick, I did go ahead and include a seventh-round option on here.
It’s worth noting that there’s a pretty major dropoff between the “worst” high-tier quarterback and the “best” lower-tier section. That made it difficult to find a potential signal-caller to grab in each round but obviously, if the Saints don’t add a quarterback in the early rounds, it’s doubtful the guy will end up becoming a major factor in the offense.
So, without further ado, let’s check out a quarterback option for the Saints in every round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
