5. Marlon Mack

A fourth-round pick out of South Florida in the 2017 NFL Draft, Marlon Mack looked like he was on his way to stardom. He totaled over 1,000 yards from scrimmage during the 2018 and 2019 seasons but injuries this past year along with a killer season from Johnathon Taylor put an end to Mack’s Colts career.

Mack is only 26 years old and still has plenty to offer but the injuries are definitely a concern. He wouldn’t be tasked with being the entire offense in New Orleans (well, at least not when Kamara is able to return and contribute) and could be had for cheap.

Spotrac projects a two-year deal worth over $5 million for Mack. This would be a hell of a steal for the former South Florida product.

4. Phillip Lindsay

Running backs’ fame aren’t for long, are they? Phillip Lindsay was once an undrafted darling for the Denver Broncos after rushing for over 1,000 yards during his first two seasons. He spent the 2021 season with two different teams and only finished the year with 249 rushing yards and a rushing score.

Lindsay is entering his age-28 season and while he isn’t the same guy he once was for the Broncos, he could absolutely provide a talented addition to the Saints’ offense.
