2. Re-sign Kwon Alexander

The Saints reaped the benefits of Kwon Alexander being traded in the 2020 season and they were fortunate that we chose to re-sign with the team in 2021. Alexander played well last year and while some might feel that he priced himself out of NOLA’s range, the fact that he’s still waiting to be signed could work out in New Orleans’ favor.

Alexander has a long list when it comes to injuries and that could be why he’s still a free agent. He’s only made it all the way through a season once in his career, which was back in 2016 (his second year in the league). Since then, he’s missed at least four games in every season.

Alexander isn’t as needed in the Saints defense now that Pete Werner has shown what he can do but if the black and gold can get the former LSU linebacker on the cheap, they should absolutely look to bring him back.

Alexander is entering his age-28 season and still contributes at a high level. He’s someone New Orleans should be looking to bring back, especially if he can be had for cheap.
