
After days of mass hysteria, Deshaun Watson — who the New Orleans Saints were heavily pursuing — finally made a decision on which team he wanted to continue his career with and it wasn’t the Saints.
Watson, in a surprising turn of events, ultimately chose the Cleveland Browns.
After initially being told they were out of the running, the Browns reversed course and gave Watson $230 million guaranteed reasons to choose to join their organization, leaving both the Saints and the Falcons in their wake.

Most expected the signing of Watson after they cleared approximately 30 million dollars in positive cap space after several additional restructures, including recently signed Bradley Roby as well as Demario Davis, Taysom Hill, and Malcolm Jenkins.
