2. Alvin Kamara

This might have an asterisk next to it due to Alvin Kamara’s legal situation right now but the Texans might still be interested in asking for the running back in a trade package. Kamara has been one of the biggest game-changers on the NOLA offense since he joined the team in 2017 and he does it both as a running back and as a pass-catcher.

Last season Kamara missed four games but still managed to total just under 900 yards rushing with four touchdowns while hauling in another 439 yards and five touchdowns through the air. That was considered one of Kamara’s weaker seasons and he still tallied 1,337 yards and nine touchdowns.

Kamara would instantly give Davis Mills and that young Texans team a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball and they might find his potential suspension in 2022 worth the risk. The legal situation definitely makes it less likely that Kamara is included here but maybe there’s something in the trade package that would send someone else to Houston if Kamara’s situation worsens.
