The NOLA Saints have reportedly made an offer to the Houston Texans for quarterback Deshaun Watson. Considering what the Broncos had to give up to land Russell Wilson, the Saints are going to have to part ways with at least one of their key players to get the 26-year-old quarterback.

If New Orleans does end up trading for Watson, who are some players that might be shipped off to Houston in exchange for the signal-caller who led the league in passing yards in 2020?

4. Marshon Lattimore

One of the likelier names to be traded would be cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who less than a year ago signed an extension worth $97 million tying him to the Big Easy through the 2026 season. Houston would love to have a cornerback like Lattimore to help jumpstart their rebuild.

It’d be a huge loss for the Saints if they had to part ways with Lattimore, as he’s one of the best young corners in the league but that’s exactly why he’d be a name Houston would want. The league is pass-happy now and having Lattimore under contract for the next five years would give the Texans a solid secondary as they try to move on from the Watson era.
