Jeff Duncan tweeted the other day that he wouldn’t be shocked if New Orleans were to have interest in Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. I know Saints fans aren’t his biggest fan, but if Duncan reports something, there’s some truth to it.

Jones went No. 6 overall to the Giants in the 2019 NFL Draft and hasn’t played in a full season during his three years at the helm. Injuries have really hurt any chance of Jones developing but when he’s been healthy and the talent around him has been available to play, he’s shown potential.

Saints fans saw firsthand in Week 4 of this past season how Jones can bring his team back and win games, as he did so in New Orleans against the black and gold.

Don’t get it twisted — Jones isn’t the ideal target for the Saints due to injuries alone. If they went this route, however, he could potentially benefit greatly from a change of scenery. He’d be in a better organization as well, as the Giants are an absolute dumpster fire.
