1. Sidney Jones IV

With Bradley Roby an easy cap casualty, the Saints are left with Paulson Adebo and Marshon Lattimore in their secondary. It’s not a terrible situation to be in but Sidney Jones IV could provide yet another body in the NOLA secondary moving forward.

PFF projects Jones to earn a one-year deal and earn $4.25 million in guaranteed money. He’s played well the past few years and is only 25 years old but injuries are certainly a blemish on his resumé. He earned an 84.3 grade in coverage, indicating that he was very good in 2021.

While cornerback isn’t as big of a need as it normally is, Jones is an affordable name in free agency and could slide right into the secondary and make it even better. He’ll probably get a lot of interest from cornerback-needy teams but if the Saints signed him, their defense would only be better and younger.
