In this New Orleans Saints mock draft, the team focuses heavily on offense, drafting on that side of the ball with all except for two picks. Who joins the black and gold in this seven-round mock draft?

It won’t shock New Orleans Saints fans if the team operates this way in the 2022 NFL Draft, as the offense was downright putrid last year. The defense was the strength of the team and while they’ll need to add some help on that side of the ball, the offense needs to be where the team directs their attention.

So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at this seven-round mock draft to see who will be donning the black and gold in 2022 and beyond.

844. . Wide Receiver. Razorbacks . Treylon Burks. 18. player

Round 1: Pick 18 – Treylon Burks, WR (Arkansas)

Surprise, surprise, the Saints go with a wide receiver in the first round. In this mock, they go with Treylon Burks out of Arkansas and he’d be a wonderful addition to this offense.

Something that really jumps out about Burks is that he can be used in a variety of ways. That is very appealing to a team like the Saints who need to get playmakers on the field for whoever is quarterbacking the team in 2022.

The Draft Network notes that Burks’ biggest strength is his ability to contest for 50/50 balls and this is something that shouldn’t go unnoticed. If Burks were to join New Orleans in 2022, he’d easily become of their favorite weapons on offense.
