1. Garrett Wilson

To be perfectly honest, No. 1 and No. 2 could be flip-flopped. Both guys were insanely talented at Ohio State and both guys should have incredible careers in the NFL.

Garrett Wilson had a 4.38 40 time and is probably going to be most suitable for a slot receiver role. The Buckeyes speedster finished his senior year with 70 receptions for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing for 76 yards and a score.

Wilson is a versatile player who could absolutely take this NOLA offense to the next level. Wilson’s draft stock varies, as sometimes he’s listed as a better prospect than Olave, and other times, he’s looked at as a late first-round prospect. There’s about a 50-50 chance that he’s still available when the Saints are on the clock at pick No. 18.

Wilson is a hair faster than Olave, which gave him the edge here, but ultimately, the NOLA Saints can’t go wrong with either one of them. They’re both guys the team would need to target in the first round though so if they don’t re-sign Jameis Winston and are forced to add a quarterback in round one, that will take away their chance to get either of these elusive Buckeyes.
