4. Skyy Moore

If the Saints go in a different direction in the first round and even pass up selecting a receiver in the second, Skyy Moore should still be available in round three. His blazing-fast 4.41 40-time could help his draft stock increase in the weeks leading up to the draft but hopefully, he’s someone New Orleans can land on Day 2.

Moore had an explosive 2021 season at Western Michigan, totaling 95 receptions for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns through 12 games. He only appeared in five games in 2020 due to the shortened season and grabbed 25 balls for 388 yards and three touchdowns, which is still a pretty good sample size considering he played in just five games.

If NOLA adds Moore, he’d be their starting slot receiver for the foreseeable future and there’s no doubt that he’d be able to take the top off of defenses. Yes, Moore played at a smaller school and the defenses he faced weren’t exactly stellar but putting up just shy of 1,300 yards is impressive no matter what the situation is.

If speed is what the Saints are coveting, Skyy Moore is an ideal Day 2 target for them come draft weekend.
