4. Jimmy Graham

File this one under unlikely for a variety of reasons but Jimmy Graham is a free agent and tight end is a position of need for the Saints.

For those of you newer Saints fans, you might not even remember when Graham was donning the black and gold. He was an incredible tight end during his stint in New Orleans and it was truly upsetting when the team traded him to Seattle in the 2015 offseason.

Graham had the worst season of his career in 2021 but to be fair, he turned 35 in November and no one expects him to be the stud he once was. He still found the end zone three times, however, and the season prior had 456 yards and eight touchdowns.

The way Graham was shipped off during the prime of his career might still sting and Brees is no longer in New Orleans. That might have been the only way the Saints could have potentially convinced Graham to return to the Big Easy but maybe if Jameis Winston re-signs, he’d consider it.

Again, it’s unlikely that Graham comes back to the Saints but he’s a former Saint who is a free agent and the team definitely needs a tight end who can get into the end zone. Graham can still be that guy.
