1. Jameis Winston (Free Agent)

Out of all of the remaining quarterbacks, whether it’s free agency, trade, or the draft, I like Jameis Winston the most.

Winston has spent the past two years with the NOLA Saints organization and he knows this team. He was off to a decent start in 2021 but an ACL tear ended his season after just seven starts. That was when the Saints’ season really took a dive, as we were then forced to watch Trevor Siemian and Ian Book quarterback the team while Taysom Hill was unavailable.

While I’d love to see Winston rejoin NOLA again in 2022, he’s the best free-agent quarterback on the market and other teams saw his decent seven-game outing this past season. Maybe the injury scares teams away but I doubt it.

I’m hopeful that the Saints can find a way to bring Winston back because he’s the best option for them in 2022 and maybe even in 2023 as well. Perhaps signing him to more than a one-year deal is the key this offseason.
