1. Re-sign Jameis Winston

As of now, the only quarterbacks on New Orleans’ roster are Ian Book, Blake Bortles, and Taysom Hill. That’s not stellar and even Jason Mendoza of The Good Place would probably agree.

The easiest decision regarding the NOLA Saints’ roster is making a strong push to re-sign Jameis Winston.

We can all sit here and say this team should trade for a big-shot like Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson, but we know in our hearts that it probably won’t happen, especially with Sean Payton out the door.

Re-signing Jameis Winston, however, is something that could realistically happen. He’s spent the past two seasons in New Orleans and started seven games last year before tearing his ACL and missing the rest of the year.

While some fans seem to think re-signing Winston is a foregone conclusion, it might not be so easy. He’s the best quarterback available in free agency and with the draft class not looking so hot, Winston will be a popular name for quarterback-needy teams.

We’re all hoping that Winston has appreciated the Saints enough during this time to return to them for at least one more season. Bringing him back is the easiest roster decision this offseason but that doesn’t mean it’ll happen.
