The world of the New Orleans Saints franchise was flipped upside down with just one fatal announcement.

With Sean Payton admitting that he was burned out and deciding to step away from coaching, for the time being, the search to replace him has immediately begun.

About 99% of the league would love to get their hands on Payton. Since 2006, Payton has led the Saints to the number one offense in the league. He also has a Super Bowl ring to his name as well. The Saints would love nothing more than for Payton to change his mind but as it stands, that seems incredibly unlikely.

The NFL world is officially Payton’s oyster at the moment. And while his phone will be ringing nonstop, he shouldn’t answer the vast majority of those calls.
