3. Los Angeles Chargers

A team with a bright future as far as their quarterback position goes is the Los Angeles Chargers, who have Justin Herbert under center for likely the next decade if he continues to play as well as he did in his first two seasons. He’s been terrific so far.

With that in mind, that organization needs to make sure Herbert always has an abundance of weapons to throw to. Keenan Allen is still at the top of his game, especially with Mike Williams hitting free agency at the age of 27. Smith is someone they should look to add as a WR3/4.

The Chargers have the second-most cap space this offseason so they can definitely afford to give their quarterback as many weapons as he’d like. Smith might not excite Chargers fans but he’d be another weapon for Herbert and for a guy who likes to spread the ball around, adding someone with his potential could be a smart move for the Bolts.

Smith could really benefit from having a quarterback like Herbert throwing to him so I could definitely see him donning the powder blue and yellow uniforms next season.
