As weak as this quarterback class is, Kenny Pickett is still going to go in the top 10 and that puts him out of the Saints’ range.

The Pittsburgh product broke all kinds of records during his time at the school and he soared up the draft boards this season as a result.

The Saints started four different quarterbacks in the 2021 season, proving they need to put a strong emphasis on the position this offseason. They might go big and target Russell Wilson in a trade or simply re-sign Jameis Winston but the draft is another option for them.

Pickett threw for 4,319 yards, 42 touchdowns, and seven interceptions and helped lead the Panthers to an ACC Championship. He’s the best quarterback in this draft class and if any of them have a chance to make it as a pro quarterback, it’d be him.

Unfortunately, he’s typically mocked to teams in the top 10 and it’d be wild if he fell out of the top 10. If he somehow makes it to No. 18, however, then it’d be hard for NOLA to pass up on taking the Pittsburgh gunslinger.
