1. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are in jeopardy of losing both Damontae Kazee and Malik Hooker this offseason and if they do, they’ll be searching for a star safety to help keep their dominant defense at the top of the league. Williams could end up being one of their premier targets in free agency because he’s young, talented, and fits a position of need for them.

Much like the Chiefs, this is a situation where Williams could go to a team that needs him and he could be in Super Bowl contention.

It is worth noting that Dallas doesn’t have a great cap situation for 2022, currently sitting in the bottom three as far as cap space goes. They’ll be able to clear some of that out and if they can make a strong run at Williams, they absolutely should. He’d keep that secondary scary and Williams would be able to play for a good team. It’s a win-win.

As much as New Orleans Saints fans would hate to see Marcus Williams leave, there’s a solid chance that he takes his talent elsewhere and chases the money that free agency has to offer. These five teams make sense for him in 2022 and beyond.
