It’s the regular-season finale in the NFL and for the first time in league history, we’ll have a Week 18. For the New Orleans Saints, their first-ever Week 18 matchup will come against the hated Atlanta Falcons, who beat them on a last-second field goal in Week 9 in the Superdome.

If the Saints want to make the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, they’ll have to not only beat the Falcons but hope that the 49ers fall to the Rams. Vegas believes New Orleans will be a playoff team per their odds but both the Saints and Rams have to go out there and actually execute, which is easier said than done.

Saints Injury Report Week 18 vs Falcons

The following players are OUT for today’s game:

OT Terron Armstead

CB Bradley Roby

DB P.J. Williams

The following players are QUESTIONABLE for today’s game:

DE Marcus Davenport

RB Mark Ingram

OT Ryan Ramczyk

Marcus Davenport Injury Update

Marcus Davenport has been battling an ankle injury and hasn’t practiced this week except for on Friday. The former first-round pick has shed the bust label this season and the team could really use him for this must-win game.

Saints vs Falcons Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 18

Per WynnBET, New Orleans is a 4-point favorite with a money line of -190 while Atlanta’s money line sits at +155. The over/under is set at 40 points.

This is a do-or-die game for the Saints. If the 49ers win, it doesn’t matter what happens in this game, but if the Niners lose and NOLA wins, they’re in the postseason and from there, anything can happen.

New Orleans has had a difficult time scoring points but they know what’s on the line here. If nothing else, the defense will continue to do their thing and put this team in the best position possible to win on Sunday. I’ll go with a 17-10 Saints victory and predict the black and gold earn the No. 7 seed in the postseason.
