3. Taysom Hill

The current starting quarterback didn’t get a ton of love in the comment section but he had the third-most mentions. It’s not surprising as to why, as Sean Payton is clearly in love with the guy and continues to give him a chance to stick with the team.

Taysom Hill received another contract extension and that could open things up for him to start next season but it could also pave the way for him to be the Swiss Army knife that he’s been during his career as a Saint.

Quarterback wins and losses aren’t a real stat but it’s hard to deny that the Saints losing just two games with Hill as a starter is impressive. For whatever reason, when he’s under center taking snaps, the Saints win games.

If New Orleans can get into the playoffs and Hill does okay in that first postseason game, I wouldn’t rule out Payton naming him the Week 1 starter at all. The bromance continues to be as strong as ever.
