4. Derek Carr

Another quarterback who could potentially benefit from a change of scenery this offseason is Derek Carr of the Raiders. During his time in Vegas, he’s led the team to a winning record once but did not get to play in the postseason that year due to getting injured in the second-to-last game of the regular season.

Since then, Carr’s Raiders have dealt with their fair share of drama and while they’d be foolish to part ways with him, if they can get a better option, it might be the only option.

Carr has thrown for 4,618 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions through 16 games and while the guy gets dinged up from time to time, he’s yet to miss a start since 2017. He’s durable, effective, and in the right scheme, could be an MVP candidate.

Carr is probably the most affordable trade acquisition for the Saints but it’s all dependant on what the Raiders do this offseason. They’re not winning with Carr so moving on could be an option for them but likely only if they can land a better option in the offseason.
