10 potential quarterback options that Saints fans would sign off on

The New Orleans Saints need a quarterback in 2022. With that in mind, I took to Who Dat Dish’s Facebook page and asked who fans thought would be the starting quarterback in Week 1 of the 2022 regular season.

What I took away from the poll was that fans could see a lot of different options for this team in 2022. Some names were in-house candidates, some were players the team would have to trade for, some were free-agent additions, and there was even a draft pick thrown in there.

Any of these scenarios could happen for New Orleans in the offseason but with limited finances, landing a big-name player on the trade market doesn’t seem all that likely. Be that as it may, it’s still the time of the year where we can dream big and ignore the Saints’ cap issues.

I only pulled the realistic names from the 100+ comments (sorry Uncle Rico) but these 10 names popped up so if you don’t like the name you see, well, I took them right from the fans’ keyboards. I put them in order from how often their names were listed.
