In the New Orleans Saints‘ first-ever Week 18 game, they’ll face the Atlanta Falcons, who will be determined to take down their arch rival and keep them out of the playoffs. That’s what at stake for NOLA, as they have to win and hope for a 49ers loss in order to make the postseason.

The first time the Saints and Falcons met this season was back in Week 9 and Atlanta won a last second field goal. It looked like New Orleans would win that game pretty handily but the defense stalled and allowed the Birds to stay in the game and be in a position to win it, which they ended up doing.

A lot more is at stake for New Orleans this time though. Will they come through and give themselves a chance to make the postseason?

Saints vs Falcons Week 18 Odds

WynnBET has New Orleans as 4-point favorites with a money line of -220. Atlanta’s money line sits at +185 and the over/under for this game is set at 40 points, which is pretty low, but not surprising considering the state of both offenses.

Saints vs Falcons Week 18 Prediction

New Orleans keeps finding a way to stay in the thick of things but do they have one more victory in them? WynnBET has them as favorites in this one and also has the Los Angeles Rams as 5.5-point favorites over the 49ers, meaning they think NOLA will be playoff bound.

The Saints’ defense is so good but can the offense score enough points to get this team a win? That’s why I’m so unsure of their chances at getting to the playoffs but WynnBET has faith that they’ll get it done.

For whatever reason, whenever Hill is the quarterback, the Saints tend to win. With that in mind, I’ll go with a 20-14 New Orleans victory and I do think they’ll end up getting that final playoff spot.
