New Orleans Saints Resolutions for 2022

Find a legitimate option at quarterback

There should be some quarterback talent available on the trade block this offseason with huge names like Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson potentially hitting the market. If either guy goes up for grabs, look for the Saints to be contenders to land either of them.

Most fans would probably rather have Wilson due to Rodgers’ theatrics (especially this season) but either would make the team a Super Bowl contender.

The problem is that neither guy is going to come easy and that’ll be where these trades become difficult. New Orleans has the roster that could help these guys get back to a Super Bowl but how much of that roster will they still have if they have to make an attempt to trade for either signal-caller?

Some fans would be fine with the Saints simply re-signing Jameis Winston and while I’d be okay with that too, if this is the route the team goes, they’ll have to give the guy more help than what he had in 2021.

Another option would be to draft someone but this year’s draft class isn’t anything to write home about so that could be a major gamble.

Getting a legitimate option at the most important position in the game has to be a big resolution for the Saints in 2022.
