The New Orleans Saints lost an absolutely disgusting game to the Miami Dolphins by a score of 20-3. Yes, the game probably should have been postponed due to all of the COVID positives on NOLA’s roster but Saints fans weren’t singing that same tune when they faced a quarterback-less Broncos team a year ago. The shoe being on the other foot isn’t fun.

It was always going to be difficult for New Orleans to win this one. They were down to their fourth-string quarterback, who just so happened to be a rookie making the first-ever start of his NFL career. He had only been active for one game before this point so this was his first glimpse of action in the regular season.

It did not go well.

We’ll discuss Book more throughout the article but I do want to throw this out there. I’m not going to completely bury the kid. He was thrown into a really difficult situation and there wasn’t much help out there for him. More on that later though.

With this game in the books and the Saints now sitting at 7-8 on the year, let’s take a look at the winners (yes, there were a few) and losers (there were a lot) from this horrifying loss.
